We had a little mishap with the room assignment, but the friendly staff quickly resolved it and moved us to a clean and comfortable room. Despite the minor hiccup, the atmosphere at Attic Backpackers was welcoming and the basic facilities were well-maintained. We especially enjoyed the TV lounge and terrace. I had a great solo stay at Attic Backpackers in Auckland. The location was perfect, with the Sky Tower, supermarket, and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful and gave me lots of ideas for things to do in the city. My room was spacious and quiet, and the comfortable bed helped me sleep off my jet lag. The hostel had a lively atmosphere, perfect for meeting new people. Despite not having AC, the fan in the room was sufficient. I would highly recommend Attic Backpackers for solo travelers.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city, with convenient access to public transportation and close proximity to various attractions. the rooms are comfortable and cozy, with extra blankets provided for added comfort. the bathrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with powerful showers and plenty of hot water. the kitchen is well-equipped and offers ample space for storing and preparing food. the common areas, such as the TV lounge and terrace, provide a relaxing place to unwind and socialize.
Some guests may find the atmosphere a bit cliquey, which can make it challenging to connect with others.

Amazingly Clean Bathrooms and Welcoming Atmosphere
During our visit to Auckland, we had the pleasure of staying at the Attic Backpackers. One of the standout features of this place was undoubtedly the communal bathroom. Despite being used by many guests, it was always spotlessly clean and had a pleasant, fresh scent. It was a relief to experience cleanliness without the overpowering smell of disinfectant.
